About 17,816 households in River Cess County are expected to benefit insecticide mosquito nets.

River Cess County Health Team in collaboration with Christian Health Association (CHAL) have begun the distribution of insecticide Mosquito Nets in River Cess County.

The County Health Officer (CHO), Doctor Wilmont Smith told news man one thousand sixty nine bales of fifty nets are in county for distribution.

Doc. Smith said “every household in River Cess County will receive at least three nets “

“The distribution will last for thirty days” Doc. Smith said.

General Community Health Volunteers (GCHVs) were seen in several communities carrying out the distribution of nets.

According to Doc. Smith the distribution of nets which is being carried out across the country demonstrates Government’s continues effort in the fight against Malaria.
